Well this is my first post. I have been to London yesterday with my friend Rob. We went to the British Museum. One of the biggest and most impressive museums in the world. I was glad to find out photography was allowed. So here are the results. I am really fond of the Egyptian culture. The good thing was the whole flight just cost 12 euro. The car trip took a bit longer than expected, gotta love traffic in Holland. Than off course a 55 minute flight to London Stansted Airport. The train ride was bumpy as hell. Like a wooden roller coaster. The last time I was in London i was 15 so already 14 years ago. Well next part of the trip was the subway of wonderful London. Winds rush trough the tunnels, strange smells. Real nice to see what mankind can do, thinking it is almost 75 meter underground. When i passed Kings Cross it felt a bit strange knowing it was blown up. A moment of silence in my mind. I saw still unfinished work on the walls. (holes and broken stones). People were very kind in directing me to the right metro, because it was hell to find them in the short time I had. It wasn't real easy to find a not busy bank or a working ATM if u need to exchange money (tip take Pounds as well as Euro's) As I said I had one goal and that was visiting the museum, so Rob and I went in. A great museum.
Overall, i had a very very nice time in London, with my best friend. I'd go back as soon as i can. To stay at least 2 or 3 days. Yes London is nice. B
